As part of our approach to yoga, we teach the principles of Taoism. The word Tao means “way”, and this is what we try and guide you to: your own natural way or path through life, and how to live harmoniously with others and the world around you.
Tao Zen Chi Yoga is the style practised and taught by me, Gary W. Abersold. I’ve been practising this form of yoga for most of my adult life and have found it awakening, enlivening and transformative. This way of practising yoga combines complementary insights from several different traditions, including Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
